I don't remember when I first heard his music. But one piece from Batman is the reason why he is my favorite.
I like to think and work in background music. It helps me calm my mind. Well, there are a lot of music composers out there, but he is my first search keyword. I have no words to describe his works. Absolutely magnificent!
A film or a shot is powerful when all the elements in that shot achieve their roles. I mean the actor, the cinematographer, every background movement, dress, props, and soundtrack. Hans Zimmer is best when he works in Nolan movies. I repeat watch many of his live shows in the dark and without any other sound pollution to feel the sound from each instrument. There is a video where he demonstrates how he created excellent music for Interstellar with the help of the church's music director.
It took Zimmer two years to create the intergalactic score. For the final recording, he and Nolan visited London's Temple Church to record on the 1926 four-manual Harrison & Harrison organ, played by the church's music director, Roger Sayer.

Hans: There's something very human about it because it can only make a sound with air and it needs to breathe!
This is what excites me when hearing his work in a movie or a random YouTube video—the dedication, finding perfection, and avoiding the cluster. There is one live show of his where he is just living in the moment.
Anyway, my point of this blog is that I absolutely love background scores. It inspires me to write, design, and even think. I plan a lot of stories in my mind, and everything is generated by hearing all this music. It’s still strange to me that I can imagine situations by hearing just music. I can connect a lot of scenarios into one scene with the help of music. And I did one in the past week. It’s from the Batman v Superman movie and the song is called Beautiful Lie (Song by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL).

I know it’s not perfect. I still remember watching this movie in the theatre and Bruce falling into the well in slow motion and this music. It all connected somehow to me, and I can feel the emotions in the song. So I looked for the right set of footage and found this collection. This music gives me a vibe of grieving. Everything is there, all I have to do is use my imagination and cut and combine the correct pieces.
